Datacor President Sean O’Donnell attended the Progress Launch Meeting in Las Vegas, Nevada on January 23, 2008. The meeting is held each year to educate and update Progress partners, such as Datacor, on the development, integration and management of their business applications to achieve business goals.

SOCMA’s Informex

Sean O’Donnell and Sales Manager Dan McCusker represented Datacor at the SOCMA Informex meeting in New Orleans, Louisiana, on January 30, 2008. Informex is the premiere meeting point for buyers and sellers of high value chemical manufacturing who are interested in networking and maximizing their productivity. Datacor offered SOCMA members the opportunity to learn about Chempax’s powerful, cost-effective features for product manufacturing, configuring intricate formulations, and assuring strict quality control.

NACD OPSEM

Datacor exhibited at the 2007 National Association of Chemical Distributors Operations Seminar (OPSEM) trade show from September 19-21st in Nashville, Tennessee. Nearly 200 purchasing decision makers in the chemical distribution industry attended to learn about the latest trends in regulatory requirements, technical information, and logistics improvements affecting chemical distributors and related chemical-using industries.

Datacor president Sean O’Donnell stated, “It was great to see so many of our customers and hear firsthand what is important to them to help them run their business.” Datacor was represented at the show by Sean O’Donnell, Dan McCusker and Mark Clark.

ICE

Datacor attended the 2007 ICE Show at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in Ontario, CA from October 2nd-4th. Expressing this year’s theme “Clean, Lean, Green,” the International Coatings Expo is the largest North American exhibition of raw materials, equipment, and services for the coatings manufacturing industry. Recognized worldwide, ICE attracts coatings professionals from over 63 countries.

ILMA

As a member of the Independent Lubricant Manufacturers Association, Datacor will be attending this year’s Annual Meeting in Carlsbad, California. Datacor implements powerful, industry specific software to collaborate with clients for higher levels of profitability. ILMA meetings provide a great opportunity to learn about trends in the lubricants industry. We are always eager to connect with colleagues and network with new associates. Datacor was represented by Dan McCusker at the 2007 ILMA meeting in Carlsbad, CA.

The Association of Water Technologies presents a unique convention for Datacor to explore and interact with the forces driving water treatment today. Datacor Presents at NACD Annual Meeting

Sean O’Donnell was invited to speak about Customer Relationship Management (CRM) at the NACD Annual Meeting in November. In strategizing for 2008, Sean emphasized that the keys to servicing customers are information, communication, and execution. Improving Customer Relationship Management (CRM) provides excellent service to current customers and sells effectively to prospects – resulting in a successful CRM implementation. Datacor’s CRM product, eChempax, goes beyond simple CRM to incorporate order processing, billing, price management, and sales analysis forecasting into a tightly integrated process aimed to improve every aspect of customer service. Walk Against Breast Cancer

Staff members from Datacor participated in the fall Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk to raise money in support of the American Cancer Society. Direct donations totaling more than $3,000 were contributed by Datacor employees, their families, and friends.

Datacor Employees Donate to Holiday Food Bank

For more than a dozen years, Datacor employees have reached out to those in need in our local community during the holiday season. Every year, Datacor supports an area charity which provides employees with an avenue to help those less fortunate. This year, our employees held a food drive in December to benefit the Interfaith Food Pantry of Morristown, an interdenominational food bank that asked local businesses for help. Food banks, both local and national, had been in a tight squeeze and tightening their belts. Our contributions of gift cards from grocery stores made the holidays a little merrier for families in our area.
